32.2% of children fully jabbed, 47.7% given first dose

Some 93.6% of teenagers have completed their vaccination.

A total of 1,142,104 children or 32.2% of those aged five to 11 had completed their vaccination under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, a total of 1,693,589 children or 47.7% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

For adolescents aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,911,511 or 93.6% have completed their vaccination while 3,008,137 or 96.7% have received at least one dose.

As for the adult population, a total of 16,090,222 individuals or 68.4% have received a booster dose while 22,973,842 or 97.6% have completed two doses of vaccine.

A total of 23,250,188 individuals or 98.85 have been given at least one dose of vaccine.

Yesterday, a total of 13,331 vaccine doses were dispensed, with 6,109 as first shots, 4,172 as second doses and 3,050 as booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 70,855,556.
