Kit Siang down with Covid-19

DAP’s Iskandar Puteri MP Lim Kit Siang has tested positive for Covid-19, although he is only experiencing mild symptoms so far.

Lim, 81, first tested positive on his RTK test at Parliament today. A PCR test later confirmed the diagnosis, his political secretary Syahredzan Johan said.

The DAP veteran has been fully vaccinated and has also received a booster shot of Covid-19 vaccine.

“Thus far, he only has light symptoms such as coughing,” Syahredzan said in a statement, adding that Lim is currently undergoing quarantine in line with the usual Covid-19 protocol.
