Johor flood victims soar past 25,000

This is over 16,000 more than the number of evacuees reported last night.

The number of people evacuated from floods in Johor soared to over 25,000 in 10 districts as of this morning. 

The state disaster management committee said 25,213 people had been moved to temporary relief centres as of 8am.

This is an increase of over 16,100 from the 9,162 flood victims reported last night.
