Daily caseload tops 1,550 as 6 more deaths reported

Another 1,552 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,834,560.

There were 1,684 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,774,314.

There are now 23,883 active cases, of which 22,741 or 95.2% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,096 (4.6%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 46 are in ICU with 26 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 62.3%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 12.5%.

Another six deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,363.
