Daily caseload at 2,111 as 6 more deaths reported

Another 2,111 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,823,975.

There were 1,493 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,762,318.

There are now 25,327 active cases, of which 24,169 or 95.4% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,101 (4.3%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 57 are in ICU with 37 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 63.3%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 15.5%.

Another six deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,330.
