New infections dip below 4,300 as death toll up by 4

There are now 47,014 active cases, of which 45,487 or 96.8% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 4,271 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,677,270.

There were 5,553 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,594,296.

There are now 47,014 active cases, of which 45,487 or 96.8% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 19 (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,446 (3.1%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 62 are in ICU with 34 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 64.2%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 16.6%.

Another four deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 35,960.
