PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang today said his party had agreed to use Perikatan Nasional's (PN) new logo in the 15th general election (GE15).

He said the matter would be discussed at a meeting with Bersatu leaders.

PN previously said it would introduce a new logo as part of its efforts to prepare for GE15.

PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin said this would see improvements made to the coalition's existing logo.

Meanwhile, when asked if the use of PN's logo would mean an end to PAS' cooperation with Umno under the Muafakat Nasional charter, Hadi said his party would continue to work with the Barisan Nasional lynchpin.

He said Muafakat Nasional was the manifestation of unity among the ummah, and that any issues that arose on the matter of logos would be discussed later.

"We are all together – Muafakat Nasional and PN," he told reporters.
