Daily caseload at 2,300 as zero deaths reported again

Another 2,302 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,554,661.

There were 2,539 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,490,906.

There are now 28,010 active cases, of which 26,929 or 96.1% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 16 (0.1%) are at quarantine centres while 1,034 (3.7%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 31 are in ICU with 18 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 61.4%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 7.1%.

No deaths were reported, leaving the toll unchanged at 35,745.
