21.4% of children fully vaxxed, 42.3% given first jab

Some 92.9% of teenagers have completed their vaccination while 68.1% of adults have received a booster shot.

A total of 761,309 children or 21.4% of those aged five to 11 had been fully vaccinated under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, a total of 1,504,066 children or 42.3% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

For adolescents aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,889,620 or 92.9% have completed their vaccination while 2,988,492 or 96.1% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

As for adults, 16,020,386 individuals or 68.1% have received a booster shot while 22,965,472 or 97.6% have completed their vaccination.

A total of 23,242,030 or 98.8% have received at least one dose.

A total of 34,376 doses were given yesterday, comprising 6,906 first doses, 22,782 second shots and 4,688 booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 70,158,087.
