New cases drop to 10,100 as another 21 deaths logged

Recoveries outpace new reported infections at 15,132.

Another 10,177 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,317,706.

There were 15,132 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,128,963.

There are now 153,463 active cases, of which 149,994 or 97.7% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 310 (0.2%) are at quarantine centres while 2,964 (1.9%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 195 are in ICU with 108 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 53.4%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 22.4%.

Another 21 deaths were reported with none brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 35,280.
