44,300 children fully jabbed, 67.5% of adults boosted

Some 38.1% of children have received a first dose of vaccine while 91.8% of teenagers are fully vaccinated.

A total of 44,376 children aged five to 11 had completed two doses of Covid-19 vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme For Children (PICKids) as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, a total of 1,353,370 children or 38.1% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

For adolescents aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,855,208 or 91.8% have completed their vaccination while 2,953,452 or 95% have received a first dose of vaccine.

As for the adult population, a total of 15,888,368 individuals or 67.5% have received a booster dose while 22,955,102 or 97.6% have completed both doses of vaccine.

A total of 23,232,340 or 98.8% have received one dose of vaccine.

A total of 25,487 vaccine doses were given yesterday, with 2,631 as first doses, 11,755 as second shots and 11,101 as booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 69,069,817.
