New cases dip to 17,400 as 30 more deaths logged

ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 57.2%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 29.9%.

Another 17,476 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,219,395.

There were 17,321 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 3,977,403.

There are now 206,979 active cases, of which 201,924 or 97.6% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 615 (0.3%) are at quarantine centres while 4,177 (2.0%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 263 are in ICU with 162 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 57.2%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 29.9%.

Another 30 deaths were reported, including five who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 35,013.
