66.2% of adults given booster shot

Some 36.1% of children have received a first vaccine jab while 91.5 of teenagers are fully vaccinated.

A total of 15,574,997 adults or 66.2% had received a Covid-19 booster dose as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, a total of 22,947,183 adults or 97.5% have completed their vaccination while 23,223,301 or 98.7% have received at least one dose.

As for teenagers aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,846,984 or 91.5% have completed their vaccination while 2,944,079 or 94.6% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

A total of 1,282,478 children or 36.1% of those aged five to 11 have received a first dose of vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids).

Yesterday, a total of 27,812 vaccine doses were given, comprising 5,900 first doses, 1,680 second shots and 20,232 booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 68,607,824.
