35.6% of children given first vaccine jab, 65.8% of adults boosted

Some 91.4% of teenagers have completed their vaccination.

A total of 1,263,287 children or 35.6% of those aged five to 11 had received a first dose of Covid-19 vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of yesterday.

Meanwhile, 2,843,805 teenagers or 91.4% of those aged 12 to 17 have been fully vaccinated while 2,942,399 or 94.6% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

In terms of adults, 15,483,571 individuals or 65.8% have received a Covid-19 booster dose.

A total of 22,943,182 individuals or 97.5% have been fully vaccinated while 23,219,105 or 98.7% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

Yesterday, 27,330 vaccine jabs were administered with 9,849 as first doses, 1,116 as second shots and 16,365 as booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses given under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 68,484,635.
