New cases dip again to 22,300 as another 85 deaths reported

There are now 283,275 active cases, of which 96.7% are undergoing home quarantine.

Another 22,341 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 3,974,019.

There were 33,347 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 3,656,415.

There are now 283,275 active cases, of which 273,974 or 96.7% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 1,747 (0.6%) are at quarantine centres while 7,164 (2.5%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 390 are in ICU with 219 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 60.7%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 44.0%.

Another 85 deaths were reported, including 23 who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 34,329.
