97.3% of adults, 86.5% of teens fully jabbed

Some 98.7% of adults and 89.7% of teenagers have received at least one dose of vaccine.

A total of 22,774,778 individuals or 97.3% of the adult population had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow portal, 98.7% of adults or 23,096,370 individuals have received at least one dose of vaccine.

Meanwhile, 86.5% of teenagers or 2,724,110 individuals have completed their vaccination while 2,825,229 individuals or 89.7% have received at least one dose.

A total of 67,376 doses were administered yesterday, 63,889 as booster shots, 2,005 as second jabs and 1,472 as a first dose.

This brings the total number of vaccine jabs administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 54,891,289 including 3,663,587 booster shots.
