61 reported Covid deaths take toll to 30,370

Of these, 15 were brought-in-dead cases.

Another 61 Covid-related deaths were reported on Nov 29, taking the cumulative death toll in the country to 30,370.

According to the health ministry’s Github data repository, 15 or 24.59% of these were brought-in-dead (BID) cases.

Selangor had the highest number of reported deaths at 14 or 22.95% followed by Terengganu at 11 or 18.03%.

Johor and Perak reported six deaths each; Kelantan and Kuala Lumpur reported five deaths each; and Negeri Sembilan reported four deaths.

Kedah and Pahang reported three deaths each while Sabah and Sarawak reported two deaths each.

No deaths were reported in Melaka, Perlis, Penang, Labuan and Putrajaya.

A total of 4,087 new cases were reported yesterday, taking the overall total to 2,627,903.

As of yesterday, there were 65,497 active Covid-19 cases reported and 4,984 recoveries.
