95.2% of adults, 79.8% of teens fully jabbed

Some 97.6% of adults and 86.9% of teenagers have received at least one dose of vaccine.

A total of 22,297,446 individuals or 95.2% of the adult population had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of yesterday.

Based on health ministry data on the CovidNow portal, 97.6% or 22,865,060 adults have received at least one dose of vaccine.

As for adolescents aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,735,720 individuals or 86.9% have received at least one dose of vaccine while 2,512,231 or 79.8% have completed their vaccination.

A total of 43,731 vaccine doses were administered yesterday, of which 9,959 were second doses, 3,117 were first doses and 30,655 were booster shots.

This brings the total number of doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 51,196,152.

Meanwhile a total of 970,364 booster jabs had been administered as of yesterday.
