95.2% of adults, 79.3% of teens fully jabbed

More than 51 million vaccine jabs have been administered since February.

A total of 79.3% or 2,495,444 adolescents aged 12 to 17 had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of yesterday.

According to health ministry data on the CovidNow website, 97.7% of adults or 22,854,725 people have received at least one dose of vaccine while 95.2% or 22,278,477 are fully vaccinated.

Meanwhile, 75.9% of the total population – 24,773,921 – have completed two doses of vaccine.

A total of 114,704 doses were administered yesterday involving 33,258 second doses, 7,388 first doses and 74,058 booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine jabs administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 51,077,813.

Cumulative booster shots administered stand at 900,201.
