Nearly 70% of adults, 50% of population fully vaccinated

More than 37 million doses of vaccine have been administered throughout the country.

A total of 20,814,413 individuals or 88.9% of the adult population had received at least a first dose of Covid-19 vaccine as of yesterday, according to the Special Committee for Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply.

Some 69.9% or 16,299,881 people meanwhile have completed their vaccination.

In terms of total population, 49.9% have been fully vaccinated while 63.7% have received at least one dose.

A total of 326,476 doses were administered yesterday, bringing the cumulative figure for vaccine shots administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 37,071,789 doses.
