65.1% of adults, 46.7% of population fully vaccinated

Over 35 million doses of vaccine have been administered across the country.

Some 65.1% of the adult population in the country, or 15,241,655 individuals, had completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday, according to the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee.

A total of 85.1%, or 19,932,137 individuals, have received a first dose, bringing the total number of vaccine shots administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme as of yesterday to 35,150,474.

About 61% of the country’s population have received at least a first dose, while 46.7% have completed both doses.

In terms of daily vaccination rate, 398,134 doses were dispensed yesterday – 188,780 as first doses and 209,354 as second doses.
