46% of population, 64% of adults double-jabbed

Some 34.7 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered throughout the country.

A total of 15,032,301 individuals or 64.2% of the country’s adult population had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of yesterday, according to the Special Committee on Ensuring Access to Covid-19 Vaccine Supply.

A total of 19,741,754 individuals or 84.3% have received a first dose, bringing the cumulative number of vaccine shots administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 34,752,340 doses as of yesterday.

Some 60.5% of the country’s overall population have received a first jab while 46% have completed both doses.

In terms of daily vaccination rate, 261,768 doses were administered yesterday, 115,473 for first-dose recipients and 146,295 for second-dose jabs.
