Zahid admitted to hospital, graft trial likely postponed yet again
His lawyer confirms that he will not be attending court tomorrow.

The corruption trial of Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will likely be postponed for the third time as the Umno president has been admitted to a private hospital in Shah Alam.
A source at the hospital said Zahid was admitted on Sunday, but had no details of his illness.
When contacted, Zahid’s lawyer Hisyam Teh Poh Teik confirmed that his client would not be attending court tomorrow.
“I will inform the court later,” he told MalaysiaNow.
Zahid is facing 40 corruption charges in connection with the foreign visa system.
His trial, postponed twice due to the movement control order, was to resume tomorrow at the Shah Alam High Court.
Zahid, who was deputy prime minister and home minister under Najib Razak’s administration, faces 20 years’ imprisonment on 33 charges of receiving bribes amounting to some RM42 million from a company to extend its contract as operator of the foreign visa system.
He is also accused of accepting bribes in various currencies – S$1,150,000, RM3,000,000, €15,000 and US$15,000 – from the same company.
