Over 10 million fully vaccinated so far

This adds up to some 31% of the country's population.

A total of 31.1% of the country’s population or 10,144,199 people had received both doses of Covid-19 vaccine as of yesterday, says Health Minister Dr Adham Baba.

He said 16,707,566 people had received a first dose, bringing the cumulative number of doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 26,851,765 as of yesterday.

In terms of percentage, 71.4% of the adult population have received a first dose and 43.3% have completed the second dose.

In terms of daily vaccination rate, 462,860 doses were administered yesterday, of which 162,182 were first doses and 300,678, second doses.
