Another 129 deaths as new cases continue to hover over 10,000

Another 10,972 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 927,533.

Selangor recorded 4,404 cases, Negeri Sembilan 1,340, Johor 876, Kedah 705, Sabah 651, Kuala Lumpur 609, Pahang 475, Melaka 474, Penang 426, Perak 324, Sarawak 301, Kelantan 170 and Terengganu 144.

Putrajaya recorded 48 cases, Labuan 24 and Perlis one.

Active cases stand at 128,997 with 915 in the ICU and 435 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 6,439 patients were discharged, bringing total recoveries to 791,388.

However, 129 more deaths were reported, pushing the virus toll to 7,148.
