Selangor recorded 2,001 cases, Negeri Sembilan 677, Sarawak 577, Kuala Lumpur 531, Johor 282, Pahang 245, Kedah 189, Melaka 180, Penang 159 and Sabah 129.

Kelantan recorded 81 cases, Labuan 77, Perak 75, Terengganu 27, Putrajaya 13 and Perlis one.

Active cases stand at 60,816 with 879 in the ICU and 433 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 6,372 patients were discharged, bringing total recoveries to 645,553.

However, 83 more deaths were reported, pushing the virus toll to 4,637.
