45 deaths, over 500 in ICU

Another 4,446 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 474,556.

Selangor recorded 1,650 cases, Sarawak 433, Johor 391, Kelantan 343, Kuala Lumpur 297, Negeri Sembilan 243, Kedah 236, Perak 203, Terengganu 201, Penang 159 and Pahang 139.

Melaka recorded 80 cases, Sabah 60 and Putrajaya 11.

Active cases stand at 43,506 with 522 in the ICU and 273 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 2,784 patients were discharged, bringing total recoveries to 429,103.

However, 45 more deaths were reported, pushing the virus toll to 1,947.
