10 more deaths, 2,690 new cases

Active cases at 23,753 with 283 in the ICU.

Another 2,690 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 392,942.

Selangor recorded 751 cases, Sarawak 595, Kelantan 424, Kuala Lumpur 217, Johor 159, Sabah 121 and Penang 117.

Kedah recorded 76 cases, Perak 64, Negeri Sembilan 57, Melaka 42, Pahang 33, Terengganu 25, Putrajaya five, Labuan three and Perlis one.

Active cases stand at 23,753 with 283 in the ICU and 121 in need of respiratory assistance.

Eight new clusters were detected:

1. Putai (Kapit and Bukit Mabong in Sarawak; 358 screened, 243 positive)
2. Ladang Paris Dua (Kinabatangan in Sabah; 103 screened, 13 positive)
3. Jalan Melaka Raya (Melaka Tengah in Melaka; 26 screened, 10 positive)
4. Jalan Bukit Naga (Klang and Petaling in Selangor; 127 screened, 18 positive)
5. Jalan Kuala Garing (Gombak in Selangor; 230 screened, five positive)
6. Halban Dua (Kota Bharu in Kelantan; 81 screened, 63 positive)
7. Pagar Sri Lalang (Kluang in Johor; 35 screened, 16 positive)
8. Rayang (Serian in Sarawak; 1,305 screened, 50 positive)

Nine others ended, leaving 351 active clusters across the country.

Another 1,853 patients were discharged, bringing total recoveries to 367,753.

However, 10 more deaths were reported, pushing the virus toll to 1,436.
