Another 1,340 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 93,309.

Selangor recorded 441 cases, Kuala Lumpur 284, Sabah 196, Negeri Sembilan 169 and Johor 156.

Penang recorded 30, followed by Labuan (27), Pahang (12), Perak (10), Kedah (six), Sarawak (three), Terengganu and Putrajaya (two each) and Melaka and Kelantan (one each).

Active cases stand at 15,563 with 116 in the ICU and 57 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 1,067 patients were discharged, bringing total recoveries to 77,309.

However, four more deaths were reported, pushing the virus toll to 437.
