Of these, 476 or 36.2% were recorded in Sabah, 266 (20.2%) in Selangor and 191 (14.5%) in Kuala Lumpur.

Perak reported 167 new cases, Penang 92, Johor 46, Negeri Sembilan 41, Kelantan 18, Kedah 17, and Melaka one.

Active cases stand at 11,508 with 118 in the ICU and 43 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 1,110 patients were discharged, bringing total recoveries to 51,314.

However, four more deaths were reported, pushing the virus toll to 354.
