Another 919 Covid-19 cases were recorded today, pushing total confirmed infections in the country to 43,791.

Of these, 319 were recorded in Sabah, followed by Negeri Sembilan (240), Selangor (174), Penang (63), Kuala Lumpur (49), and Labuan (35).

Perak recorded nine new cases while Melaka, Sarawak and Johor recorded eight each.

Kedah recorded three new cases, Kelantan two and Putrajaya one.

Active cases stand at 11,419 with 92 in the ICU and 35 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 996 patients were discharged, taking total recoveries to 32,069.

However, one more death was reported, bringing the virus toll to 303.
