852 cases bring daily numbers back down to 3 digits

Another 852 Covid-19 cases were reported today, pushing total confirmed infections in the country to 40,209.

Of these, 524 were recorded in Sabah and 148 in Selangor.

Active cases stand at 11,689 with 94 in the ICU and 32 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 825 patients were discharged, taking total recoveries to 28,234.

However, four more deaths were reported, bringing the virus toll to 286.
