New infections at 367 as 9 more deaths reported

Another 367 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,031,443.

There were 398 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,983,170.

There are now 11,372 active cases, of which 10,846 or 95.4% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 502 (4.4%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 24 are in ICU with 12 in need of respiratory assistance. 

Another nine deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,901.
