Daily caseload at 206 as one more death reported

Another 206 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,042,791.

There were 176 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,996,585.

There are now 9,248 active cases, of which 8,901 or 96.2% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 340 (3.7%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of seven are in ICU with three in need of respiratory assistance. 

One more death was reported, taking total deaths to 36,958.
