New infections at 255 as another 4 deaths logged

Another 255 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,039,067.

There were 306 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,992,386.

There are now 9,731 active cases, of which 9,392 or 96.5% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 327 (3.4%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 12 are in ICU with five in need of respiratory assistance. 

Four more deaths were reported, taking total deaths to 36,950.
