New infections at 324 as death toll remains unchanged

Another 324 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,037,242.

There were 148 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,990,227.

There are now 10,073 active cases, of which 9,653 or 95.8% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 408 (4.1%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 12 are in ICU with six in need of respiratory assistance.

No new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll unchanged at 36,942.
