New infections at 202 as death toll up by 2

Another 202 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,036,342.

There were 141 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,989,861.

There are now 9,539 active cases, of which 9,135 or 95.8% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 381 (4%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 23 are in ICU with 12 in need of respiratory assistance.

Two more deaths were reported, taking total deaths to 36,942.
