Daily caseload at 269, no new deaths reported

Another 269 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,036,140.

There were 285 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,989,720.

There are now 9,480 active cases, of which 9,088 or 95.9% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 371 (3.9%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 21 are in ICU with 14 in need of respiratory assistance. 

No new deaths were reported, leaving the death toll unchanged at 36,940.
