Daily caseload at 236 as death toll up by 2

Another 236 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,035,613.

There were 312 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,989,126.

There are now 9,549 active cases, of which 9,133 or 95.6% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 402 (4.2%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 14 are in ICU with 11 in need of respiratory assistance. 

Two more deaths were reported, taking the death toll to 36,938.
