New infections at 172 as another 3 deaths reported

Another 172 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,035,377.

There were 325 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,988,814.

There are now 9,627 active cases, of which 9,245 or 96% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 369 (3.8%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 13 are in ICU with 10 in need of respiratory assistance. 

Another three deaths were reported, all of whom were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,936.
