New infections top 2,100 as another 14 deaths logged

A total of 92 are in ICU with 58 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another 2,121 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,969,420.

There were 1,764 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,905,670.

There are now 27,141 active cases, of which 25,149 or 92.7% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,900 (7%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 92 are in ICU with 58 in need of respiratory assistance. 

Another 14 deaths were reported, including four who were brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,609.
