PKR chief Anwar Ibrahim last night continued his attack on Perak PAS chairman Razman Zakaria following his letter of demand over the latter's claim linking him to the LGBT community, same-sex marriage and communism.

Speaking at Pakatan Harapan's (PH) "grand finale" ceramah in Gombak, Anwar repeatedly hit out at Razman, calling him a "stupid PAS leader".

"Let us not lose our humanity," he said. "If you love those on earth, love will be poured out in heaven.

"Do you want to hear PAS saying such things? Will the Perak PAS leader say these things?

"Why? The Perak PAS leader is stupid," he said.

Anwar on Nov 8 sent a letter of demand to Razman, who is also a former member of the Semanggol state legislative assembly.

The letter gave Razman seven days to respond and to pay Anwar RM5 million for damaging his reputation.

Razman had accused Anwar of promoting LGBT issues, allowing same-sex marriage, and supporting communism.

Anwar has lately been seen as coming down hard on Perikatan Nasional leaders while refraining from criticising Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, even in the Umno president's constituency of Bagan Datuk.

Speaking last night, he said he had intentionally chosen Gombak as the grand finale point for PH's campaign in order to topple its incumbent, Mohamed Azmin Ali, who is also the international trade and industry minister.

"I chose to come to Gombak, to teach traitors a lesson," he said.

Azmin faces a five-way contest for the seat in the Nov 19 polls.
