Daily caseload passes 2,400 as 6 more deaths reported

Another 2,430 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 4,497,212.

There were 2,192 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,436,387.

There are now 25,172 active cases, of which 24,053 or 95.6% are undergoing home quarantine.

Meanwhile, 12 (0.0%) are at quarantine centres while 1,076 (4.3%) have been hospitalised.

A total of 31 are in ICU with 18 in need of respiratory assistance. ICU utilisation throughout the country stands at 59.4%, with Covid ICU utilisation at 6.4%.

Another six deaths were reported. Total deaths now stand at 35,653.
