310 children fully vaccinated, 15.8 million adults boosted

Some 37.4% of children have received at least one dose of vaccine.

A total of 310 children aged five to 11 had completed two doses of Covid-19 vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids) as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, a total of 1,329,638 children or 37.4% have received a first dose of vaccine.

Meanwhile, a total of 2,851,819 teenagers or 91.7% of those aged 12 to 17 have completed their vaccination while 2,948,197 or 94.8% have received at least one dose.

In terms of the adult population, 15,808,761 individuals or 67.2% have received a booster dose while 22,953,296 or 97.6% are fully vaccinated.

A total of 23,228,967 or 98.8% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

A total of 57,199 vaccine doses were administered yesterday, comprising 6,788 first doses, 1,895 second shots and 48,516 booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 68,909,031.
