PKR chief Anwar Ibrahim today became the latest in a string of political leaders to test positive for Covid-19.
His aide Shukri Saad said Anwar tested positive for the virus in a PCR test at Parliament.
“He will self-quarantine for seven days in line with the health protocol laid out by the health ministry,” he said in a statement.
Earlier today, DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang also tested positive for Covid-19 with his political secretary saying the Iskandar Puteri MP was experiencing only mild symptoms.
Yesterday meanwhile PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang began home quarantine as well after a positive diagnosis of Covid-19.
