65.3% of adults boosted, 33.7% of children given first vaccine jab

Some 91.3% of teenagers have completed their vaccination.

A total of 15,357,069 individuals or 65.3% of adults had received a Covid-19 booster jab as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow website, a total of 22,937,707 or 97.5% have completed their vaccination while 23,213,875 or 98.7% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

A total of 1,197,667 children or 33.7% of those aged five to 11 have received a first dose of vaccine under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Children (PICKids).

As for teenagers aged 12 to 17, a total of 2,839,254 or 91.3% have completed their vaccination while 2,938,900 or 94.5% have received at least one dose.

Yesterday, a total of 56,585 vaccine doses were given, comprising 17,939 first doses, 1,728 second shots and 36,918 booster jabs.

This brings the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) to 68,275,177.
