97.4% of adults, 86.7% of teens fully jabbed

A total of 25,529,153 individuals or 97.4% of adults had completed their Covid-19 vaccination as of yesterday.

According to the CovidNow portal, 23,110,692 individuals or 98.7% of adults have received at least one dose of vaccine.

Meanwhile, 86.7% of adolescents or 2,729,919 individuals have completed their vaccination while 89.9% or 2,829,924 individuals have received at least one dose of vaccine.

A total of 168,716 doses of vaccine were administered yesterday – 4,246 as first doses, 5,125 as second shots and 159,345 as booster jabs.

This brings the total number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 55,383,495, including 4,107,585 booster shots.
