94% of adults, 70% of population fully jabbed

A total of 48,046,427 shots have been administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

A total of 22,934,377 people or 94% of the adult population had been fully vaccinated against Covid-19 as of yesterday.

Meanwhile 25,240,631 or 97.2% have received at least one shot, including of the single-dose CanSino vaccine.

In terms of total population, 70.2% have been fully vaccinated while 77.3% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

Kelantan and Sabah remain below the 80% full vaccination level for adults at 76.8% and 70.8% respectively.

A total of 207,541 doses of vaccine were administered yesterday, taking the cumulative number of vaccine shots given under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 48,046,427.
