Herd immunity among adults a wrap with 80.2% fully vaccinated

More than 80% of the adult population had been fully vaccinated as of yesterday with 18,786,636 or 80.2% of those 18 and above completing their vaccination regime.

Meanwhile 93.2% or 22,223,652 have received at least one dose, including of the single-dose CanSino vaccine.

In terms of total population, 68.1% have received at least one dose while 57.5% are now fully vaccinated.

A total of 261,255 doses were administered yesterday, taking the cumulative number of vaccine jabs given under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme to 40,925,929.
