Some 41.6% of the country’s population or 13,580,934 people had completed both doses of Covid-19 vaccine as of yesterday, according to the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee.
A total of 18,631,593 individuals, or 57.1%, have received a first dose, bringing the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme as of yesterday to 32,212,527.
The percentage of adult population who had completed both jabs meanwhile rose to 58% from 56.9% on Monday.
In terms of daily vaccination rate, 420,164 doses were given yesterday. Of these, 265,160 doses were second doses and 155,004 were administered to first-dose recipients.
